Simple Tahoe Weddings makes our best effort to help you plan the perfect event or wedding in Lake Tahoe with minimal stress. Our Terms & Conditions are meant to protect not only the Simple Tahoe Weddings operational structure, but your special day as well. Privacy Policy

Your online privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choice you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We collect contact information (like your name, address, telephone number, credit card information and email address) through the online contact form, printed information on forms that will be faxed to us or over the telephone. We do not sell, share or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone unless we have your express consent to share your information. Or, unless we need to share your information to provide you the product or service you requested or the disclosure is necessary to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of other users. Our privacy policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically.

Terms & Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to reserve your event package. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. If the event date is within 30 days, 100% of the package price is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. You may pay your deposit and final payment to Simple Tahoe Weddings using a credit card. We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

Changes/Cancellations:

If you need to change or reschedule your event for any reason, there is a $50 handling fee and a written notice is required. Cancellations must be in writing and there are no refunds within 30 days of the event date. If there is a cancellation or change within 30 days, your payment may be applied to a future date within the next 12 months. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary changes. Availability for some services may be difficult to obtain. We are not responsible for the weather or event delays. If Simple Tahoe Wedding is unable to perform the wedding for any reason, a suitable and reputable company will be hired for you at no additional cost to the Client.

If your event is more than 30 minutes late, for any reason, the event may need to be rescheduled at the Minister's discretion and additional fees may apply.

If the weather does turn for the worst, you may choose to book an alternate indoor location. To secure this location, you'll need to make a payment. If you don't use the alternate location, the location fees are non-refundable. There is a limit to the number of guests at some locations.

Additional charges may apply for parking, tram rides and state park fees (if applicable) and may also be assessed for unusual circumstances not included in this Agreement, or if any changes are made to the conditions listed above. Throwing of rice, birdseed, confetti, fake rose petals or releasing helium balloons are prohibited due to possible harm to the wildlife and birds.

Liability Release:

Client agrees to hold Simple Tahoe Weddings, its employees or sub-contractors harmless from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses relating to services arising out of this Agreement.

Photo Release:

I hereby grant to Simple Tahoe Weddings the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of me, my wedding, or in which I may be included, for Bridal publications, electronic reproductions (web sites) and/or promotional materials or any other purpose and in any manner or medium. In addition, I grant my permission to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. I hereby release the photographer and Simple Tahoe Weddings from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
